Galaxy S6 battery life bad? This Boost It Up

Update April 17, 2015: Now that we've got a day's worth of use under our belts, well, results are mixed as to whether the Samsung Galaxy S6 battery life is still bad, or whether it's improved. A number of folks in this forum thread believe that, indeed, they're seeing better results after Samsung updated its Push app. That's pretty much par for the course, especially when you're looking at things in this manner. We'll continue to keep  eye on this.

Samsung today has updated the Samsung Push app in Google Play for a number of its phones, including the GS6, GS5 and Galaxy Note. Never mind what it does (OK, it "provides the notification service only for Samsung services") — it's the changelog that interests us. In addition to general bugfixes, Samsung notes that it's "applied patches for reducing data usage and power consumption."
